Product Description:

Ad Sil Acura Light Cartridge is a polyvinyl addition silicone impression material in wash consistency (Light Viscosity). It is one of the most acceptable impression materials owing to its unique advantages of ease in handling, compatible to all die materials. Ad Sil Acura Light Cartridge is hydrophilic and thixotropic type.

Indications:

Where precise Impression is required especially during crown & bridge prosthesis.

Contra Indications:

Avoid use of this product in patients with allergies to Silicone.

Precautions:

Polyvinyl addition silicone should not be handled with sulfur cured rubber gloves. Aluminum based astringent can retard setting of material. Material while setting should not be put under undue stress as the same could distort impression after withdrawing. Do not use with poly ether, poly sulfide or condensation type of material. Avoid contact with eugenol materials, latex, oil, acrylates, glycerol and spray-type or ointment-type topical surface anesthesia (eg. Lidocaine)

Procedure:

1. Ad Sil Acura Light Cartridge could be used with 1 step or 2 step impression taking technique.
2. Ad Sil Acura Putty as well as wash material should be mixed with equal quantity of base and catalyst.
3. Bleed Ad Sil Acura Light Cartridge before each use to ensure proper dosage of material. Keep immersed in Ligthbody while extruding the material at all times.
4. Putty should be kneaded with fingers. Wash material should be mixed with help of stiff spatula till uniform color is achieved or in case of cartridge type mixing will be achieved  using auto mixing tips. Wash material would turn Purple in color at the end of mixing.
5. Wash material could be dispensed with help of syringe around margin of preparation.
6. Use rigid tray which allows at least 3 mm space all around for taking impression. Apply Tray adhesive
   on
   the tray and leave it to dry prior to usage of tray
7. Wipe teeth to clear excess blood, saliva and water; complete drying is not mandatory, however foreign materials could hamper flow.
8. Wait for setting time. See table below for setting time of the putty and wash material.
9. While withdrawing impression break seal and pull away from impression area.
10. Rinse material under running water, if required disinfectants could be used.
11. Do not store impression in direct sunlight.
12. Model could be poured after 20 minutes of impression. Ad Sil Acura is compatible to all die materials including epoxy. Epoxy could be poured after 60 minutes of taking impression.
13. Pour model within 14 days after taking impression.
14. Using Prime Dental’s Debubblizer shall avoid surface porosity.

Caution:

1. Avoid contact of base, catalyst, mixed material, or adhesive with eyes. In case of contact immediately flush with generous amount of water and seek medical attention.
2. Avoid getting material on clothing as it is hard to remove
3. Use plastic gloves or polyethylene gloves when kneading the putty impression material. Do not use latex gloves. Do not interchanges measuring spoons or caps of the container.
4. Thoroughly clean hands prior to mixing or wear vinyl over gloves.
5. For disinfestation refer to respective manufacturer’s instruction of use
6. PPE (Personal Protective Equipment): Gloves, face mask & safety eye wear should be always worn. 

   Storage & Shelf Life: Store away from sunlight in a cool and dry place. Do not leave cartridge open, always fit the cap tightly back on the cartridge after each use. Do not use after expiration date.

Disposal Conditions:

To be disposed of based on the prevailing rules of the country in which it is used.
